I have been an avid amateur for 55 years, observed L.T.P. in 1949, meteor hitting Luna reddening of area of impact. I have maps of Luna and while I am not totally  familiar with the names of the craters and features the maps will keep me up to date and informed. (deep sky is my favored observing venue) Use a Newtonian Reflector with 200 mm mirror with a focal length of 900 mm.
